Saturday with the kid

Today started off kind of weird—like “did I wake up in a parallel universe?” weird. But the afternoon totally redeemed itself! I got to hang out with my daughter, watch a movie, and then we hit the ultimate adventure trifecta: the home supply store, the pet store, and of course, bringing the dog along for moral support. We spent a solid 2-3 hours wandering the aisles, debating which paint swatches are the least offensive, and letting the dog live out his "main character" dreams in public. It was a blast! Somewhere between the power tools and the squeaky toys, it hit me—moments like these are what life’s all about. Pure, unfiltered chaos with the ones you love.
