The idea behind the Oak Values came to me at the lowest point in my life. My wife had just left me, and my world, as I knew it was caving in from all sides.
I started working with like-minded men to better myself. My first step was knowing and living my values. I knew I was raised well, but my problem was I couldn't actually tell you what my values were.
I wrote down 68 common core values in bold letters. I narrowed them down to 20 or so based on what stood out to me. From those 20 I got down to the three that were the most important to me. I looked up the definition of those three and made them apart of my everyday amazing life.
